Downtown Cincinnati Lofts rarely come as charming as those at 20-22 West 12th Street. Developed by the Model Group and designed by Glaserworks, Bremen Lofts offers transitional-style lofts with eco-friendly features such as bamboo flooring. Four run-down buildings have been meticulously transformed into 20 residential lofts and street-level commercial space near the heart of Over-The-Rhine. Located on the north and south sides of Republic Street at 12th street, these transitional-style residences offer the best in Downtown Cincinnati ‘s Over-The-Rhine lofts.
As the designer described it, the units are spacious, lofty and downright cool. What is equally important is that, to keep unit prices low, the design incorporated many inexpensive features. Yet, this did not come at the expense of style and preservation. Keeping the existing Italianate architecture and charm was made possible by features such two-story spaces with open stairwells. This has the effect of altering perceptions of space and increased openness.
