Westwood is consistently voted one of Cincinnati’s most livable neighborhoods. Walk to dining options, Westside Brewery, Wine bars and cool little shops. Its only 10 minutes max to downtown Cincinnati, UC, Hospitals, which you don’t even have to get on the interstate to get to, and 15 to the Airport. As one of the oldest neighborhoods, started by the founder of Procter & Gamble where his original estate is, this lovely community offers really pretty housing stock. Many homes are Arts & Crafts homes that go for twice the price in Hyde Park, another City proper neighborhood. Westwood Civic is a strong neighborhood association, as as the city largest, by far, neighborhood they are continually working towards a safer and healthier community. Westwood offers a top notch, newly refurbished, city James Gamble Montessori School program. easy access to everything the city offers plus great local restaurants and soon to come an farming center for children’s education donated by the Green Acres Foundation who was established by Louise Nippert the heir to the Gamble Estate. Lovely mansions, beautiful Tudor Revivals, lots of pretty bungalows and cool mid century ranches are in the historic mix. Some new construction and lots of large lots with old established tree lined streets. Check out www.westwoodhomes.net for more information about living in Westwood.
